Dear players,

we would like to bring you some news from our Cataclysm realms! Based on your feedback and reports, we have decided that the merge of Apollo and Athena will happen in approximately 6‒10 weeks, depending on the progress of the guilds that are still progressing Dragon Soul, to give all the necessary time.

In preparation for the merge, we will perform character purge on Apollo, which will happen in 2 weeks, on Wednesday, 4th of September 2024. Because of the long history of the realm, the criteria for deletion will be more strict this time, to ensure only the active characters remain, and because the vast majority of characters were copied to Helios when it launched, they will remain preserved there in any case. The criteria for deletion on Apollo are as follows:

• characters with played time lower than 2 hours which are offline for more than 6 months,
• characters with level lower than 70 which are offline for more than 1 year,
• all characters which are offline for more than 1.5 years (i.e. all the ones that are not played anymore and were copied to Helios),

We also have great news to share with you ‒ the long-awaited Cataclysm to Mists of Pandaria transfer service has entered alpha stage and will soon be tested on the PTR! If all goes well, the testing will be extended to the live server in the upcoming weeks. This service will be available to everyone on both realms for free.
